If you are a fan of AMC’s terrific series “Mad Men,” here is your chance to grab 40 percent off all four seasons of the show on DVD and Blu-Ray through a promotion run by GetGlue and Lionsgate, the entertainment studio which produces the show.

To unlock this deal, users will have to check-in to the show through GetGlue’s apps or on its website. Earning one of the stickers will reveal the reward and by clicking through to the Lionsgate store, you will receive a 40 percent discount on all four seasons of the show.

The promotion marks the release of season four of the show on Blu-Ray and DVD on Mar. 29. “Mad Men,” which is set in the 1960s, focuses on Don Draper (Jon Hamm), a successful creative director at fictional New York advertising agency Sterling Cooper, and those who play a role in his life both in and out of the office. The minor description does not really do the show justice though, as it is incredibly absorbing and throughly entertaining.

I have to wonder what kind of deal GetGlue has cut with Lionsgate in order to set up this promotion. If GetGlue is taking a small cut of the profits from every box-set sold, then this could be a viable revenue model for the social entertainment check-in service.

Meanwhile, GetGlue has launched a “Mad Men” trivia challenge which will help users grab some more stickers very easily. Once you have earned your first “Mad Men” sticker, you will be presented with a quote from the show. By checking-in to the GetGlue topic page of the character who uttered the line, you will unlock the next sticker and quote. For instance, if you see the quote, “Remember when I told you about Pete Campbell’s last day? It’s today,” then you would check-in to the Don Draper topic page, of course.

There’s no definite word on when season five will be airing as yet. In fact, “Mad Men” may not return to AMC until next January so there is plenty of time for you to catch up on this rich, gorgeously shot work of television if you have not yet seen it. For fellow fans, this offer is a great opportunity to revisit one of the best TV shows of the last decade.
