Foursquare Day is fast approaching and several retailers across the U.S. (including McDonalds) have announced one-day only specials to celebrate the occasion. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, LA Fitness has unveiled 2 specials that will be available to Foursquare users on Satuday.

The first special is open to all members of the gym. If you bring along a friend this Saturday and you both check-in to the location on Foursquare, your friend will receive a free 30-day pass. Mayors of LA Fitness venues can also join in on the fun. If they check-in at their gym on Saturday, they can unlock a special that will see them pick up a free gym bag and towel. Not bad at all.

These are both interesting ways to use the recently updated Foursquare specials system and are certainly fun ways to celebrate Foursquare Day. To find a LA Fitness location near you that is offering the Foursquare Day specials, search for LA Fitness on Foursquare.
