Video Chat Service Rounds Passes 1M Monthly Active Users, Now Lets You Record Video Sessions
Rounds has announced that it now has more than 1 million monthly active users. To celebrate passing the milestone, the video chat service is adding a new feature that will let you record your conversations.
Through a partnership with Screenr, Rounds now lets you record your video chats and then share them with your friends. You can also submit your recordings into competitions and share what you have recorded to get public feedback.
The feature has been requested by users of the Rounds Facebook app, Video Chat Rounds. Users have suggested that they will use the feature in several different ways, from recording chapter meetings at sororities to live video chat shows users have conducted.

Earlier this year, Rounds created a fun interactive Facebook profile as part of a promotional drive. The service also published an infographic earlier this month, where it compares itself with competing video chat services such as Facebook, Google+ and TinyChat.
With Facebook (through its partnership with Skype) and Google+ (through the Hangouts feature) both making waves in the video chat and video calling space, it is impressive that Rounds has achieved 1 million monthly active users. The launch of the recording feature indicates that Rounds is not ready to back down from the big boys without a fight and could help it attract some more users.

That’s so cool. My bf and I talk on Video Chat Rounds all the time and now I can save those convos for posterity’s sake! lol
