GetGlue, Entertainment Weekly Partner With Gap To Offer 40% Off Single Clothing Item

Entertainment Weekly and GetGlue, the entertainment check-in service, have announced rewards for the next phase of their partnership. In June, the entertainment magazine chose 15 of the summer’s best movies and gave GetGlue users the chance to win 350 movie passes. Now that summer is over, Entertainment Weekly has curated a list of the best TV shows premiering this fall and is offering users one great deal — 40 percent off a single, regularly priced item at Gap. It’s time to turn on the TV and get that coveted piece for your fall wardrobe.

To get the discount from Gap, who signed on as a sponsor in order to promote their fall line, you must check in to the shows on Entertainment Weekly’s list. Starting on Thursday, if you check in to the featured shows, you will unlock Entertainment Weekly Fall TV Fan stickers. Once one of the 4 stickers is unlocked, you will receive instructions on how to get the discount.

Gap is the first retailer to partner with Entertainment Weekly and GetGlue, and the stickers feature a Gap logo that users can virtually peel off. The 4 variations of the stickers are called Walk-On, Sidekick, Star and Showrunner.

Entertainment Weekly’s list includes highly anticipated programs like Ringer, New Girl and The X Factor, but you can view the list of all of the featured programs on GetGlue’s website. The special will only be available from Sept. 14 to Oct. 15.
