Interestingly, one week after iOS 9.0 hit iDevices around the world, Apple dropped iOS 9.0.1 this morning – can we jailbreak 9.0.1? Let’s find out! Similar to 8.4.1, the new 9.0.1 firmware bakes in Apple’s latest TaiG jailbreak patch. In other words, we need a new iOS 9 jailbreak before we’re able to jailbreak iOS 9.0.1 on our iPhones, iPads and iPod touches.

The current jailbreak situation for iOS 9 is rather difficult – thankfully, iCrackUriDevice created an amazing video that highlights all jailbreak developments and updates, specifically for iOS 9, which is embedded above!

Right now, as we type this article, three jailbreak developments groups are working hard on creating new software able to jailbreak 9.0.1. With iOS 9 having been released just one week ago though, development is in early stages and we may have to wait for iOS 9.1 before we get a new jailbreak.
