StumbleUpon Updates iPhone And iPad Apps, Adds Explore Box And Other Features

Social discovery engine StumbleUpon has updated its iPhone and iPad apps, with the addition of the Explore Box, faster page loading and more. The Explore Box feature, which was added to the company’s website and browser toolbar in August, lets you stumble through just about any topic you can think of.

Both the iPhone and iPad apps now have the Explore Box feature, along with faster page loading. The iPhone app has been updated to include an additional feature in the form of swipe capabilities (in other words, you can browse pages within the app by swiping left or right on the screen), while the user interface has been revamped to make the app more streamlined and easier to use.

StumbleUpon rolled out an Audience Tools page in June to help website owners engage with the StumbleUpon community and make their content easier to find. The company closed a $17 million funding round in March and users are carrying out more than 1 billion stumbles per month.

You can download the new version of the StumbleUpon app on your iPhone or iPad now.
