Zaarly Launches Real-Time Market, Get What You Need Fast From People Locally

Move over Craigslist, there’s a new e-commerce service in town, and this one allows users to buy and sell their goods and services on the go. Zaarly wants its users to find what they want, for the price they want fast from the people around them. Buyers can request whatever they may want - like furniture, gadgets, someone to help them move - and a seller, be they someone looking to unload a couch that won’t fit into their apartment or a small moving business can respond to the request and begin the oh-so-fun price negotiating process.

Zaarly works similarly to Craigslist as it’s completely user-generated and designed to help buyers and sellers connect with each other within their communities.

Here’s how it works: A user posts what they need and what price they are willing to pay for it. Zaarly shares your request in real-time with the Zaarly network, and then people and businesses who have what you need respond. Once connected with other users, you can start the bargaining process (anonymously, too!) through private messages until both parties are satisfied. Once a payment arrangement has been met, you can pay with cash or by credit card through your Zaarly account.

Zaarly also allows users to post their requests to Twitter and Facebook, which is a great idea because it will not only help users find what they want faster, but will help Zaarly spread the word about their company and hopefully attract more users.

I think this service is a great idea that will help people make extra cash, connect with other members of their community and help small businesses acquire new customers. I also would like to see Zaarly expand into bartering. And because your are buying and selling with people in your area, you’re sure to get what you need fast.

Unfortunately Zaarly is not available on all devices yet. However, you can access the service from any Web-enabled phone. iPhone users can download Zaarly from the App Store.
